La distribucion de la sagrada Comunion, durante la Misa, es verdaderamente un ministerio. Es el ministerio que lleva el sacramento del cuerpo y la sangre de Cristo al pueblo de Dios y da un testimonio de fe de la presencia real de Cristo en la accion de compartir el alimento Eucaristico, del sacrificio de Cristo. Por lo tanto, el ministerio debe ser ejercido co la maxima dignidad y reverencia.
