What is Our Family Faith Formation Program?

Our Family Faith Formation program is more than just religious education; it is a journey of growing closer to God as a family and a parish community. We are here to help children and their families build a personal relationship with Jesus, understand the beauty of our Catholic faith, and live it out daily.

Through age-appropriate lessons for children 7 to 14 years of age, prayer, sacraments and family involvement, we provide children with the foundation they need to grow in faith, hope and love. Parents are the first and most important teachers of the faith, so we partner closely with families.

The Importance of Weekly Holy Communion

Receiving the Holy Eucharist each Sunday is the heart of our Catholic life. The Mass is where we gather as one body, hear God’s Word, and are spiritually nourished by the Body and Blood of Jesus. Attending Mass every week teaches children that faith is not just a subject, but a way of life rooted in Christ.

Monthly Family Gatherings

Our Lady of Guadalupe – Pray the novena together and dress as pilgrims for the celebration.
First Friday of the month – Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
All Saints Day – Attend Mass or dress as a favorite saint.
The Presentation of the Lord (Candlemas) – Bring a blessed candle or your family’s Baby Jesus figure to Mass.

Holy Thursday Mass and Visitation of the Seven Churches.
Good Friday hike with the Stations of the Cross through Mary’s eyes.
Divine Mercy Sunday and a mini procession.
Our Lady of Fatima rosary walk.
Corpus Christi procession.

Class Times

Wednesdays, 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM — 2nd through 5th grade. English and Spanish classes available.
Saturdays, 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM — 2nd through 6th grade. English and Spanish classes available.
Saturdays, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM — 2nd through 7th grade. English and Spanish classes available.
